Trade Assistant (Aviation)

Aerospace Thermal Coatings Ltd have more than 30 years of experience in aircraft and engine component repair and overhaul. Specializing in thermal spray coating applications. We are seeking a Trade Assistant to help with the day to day operations, the focus being on repair processes such as painting and thermal spraying. Extensive on the job training will be provided to ensure you will be successful in this role. In this full-time permanent role we will offer you competitive pay, a permanent and secure role, in a safe and clean working environment.

Applicants should ideally possess:

• Safety first mindset and attitude
• Preferably have a tertiary Engineering qualification
• Experience with repair or maintenance processes such as welding, general machining and paint spraying
• Ability to read engineering blueprints
• Fast learner with a good understanding of engineering concepts
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem solving ability
• Strive to continuously improve
• Be flexible, enjoy challenges and like working in a team environment
• Good computer literacy
• Good communication skills
• NZ Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Work Visa
• Proven mechanical aptitude
