Senior Engineer

Location: Hinds, Canterbury Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Casual (flexible) Travel: Canterbury-based with NZ-wide travel as required

PMR Grain Systems has been New Zealand’s trusted supplier, distributor, and installer of agricultural storage and stock feed solutions since 2004. We specialise in crop and grain storage and handling, dairy feed systems, feed milling, and seed cleaning equipment. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a qualified and experienced engineer to join our progressive and innovative team.

This is a flexible role that may suit one or more candidates. Work can be based in-house, on-site, or a combination of both. You will be involved in a wide variety of projects, from small jobs through to new and existing plant design.

Key responsibilities may include:

-On-site installation, maintenance, and repair of agricultural systems -In-house design, engineering, and fabrication -Working across new builds and upgrades to existing plants -Contributing to consultation, design, and problem-solving solutions -Travelling within Canterbury and occasionally throughout New Zealand (travel allowance and away-from-home pay provided)

About You- -Qualified engineer with proven, hands-on experience -Strong attention to detail with a reliable, proactive work ethic -Able to work independently and as part of a team -Comfortable working on-site and in a workshop environment -Experience in agricultural engineering is highly beneficial

Bonus skills (not essential): -CAD design experience -Familiarity with Simpro or similar job management systems -General computer and technical system skills (Training can be provided where needed)
