CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer Join One of New Zealand’s Fast-Growing Performance Engineering Companies
Based in Napier, Franklin Engineering and Franklin Performance are growing fast — and we’re looking for a skilled CNC machinist who genuinely takes pride in precision workmanship and high-end engineering.

We design, manufacture, and supply our own range of premium automotive performance parts, alongside precision components for customers across New Zealand. Every day brings something different — from performance engine components to custom engineering projects and prototype development.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in our workshop, working alongside experienced tradesmen to:
Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines Set and operate CNC lathes Produce high-precision machined components Work on exciting automotive and engineering projects Help maintain the high standards our customers know us for What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who:
Has solid CNC machining experience Can confidently program, set, and operate CNC machines Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work Has an obsessive attention to detail Is reliable, motivated, and easy to work with Communicates well and works well within a team Can also work independently and use initiative Experience with the following is highly regarded: *Okuma CNC machines *Doosan CNC machines *Mazak CNC machines *Wire EDM *Fusion 360 CAM software
Trade qualifications in engineering or machining are preferred.
