A long-established New Zealand-owned engineering manufacturer is looking for a skilled Toolmaker / CNC Machinist to join their Wellington team. This is a hands-on role working on high-quality production tooling and innovative engineering projects.
About the Role
- Programme and operate 3-4 axis CNC mills (Okuma)
- Create programmes in Fusion 360 or similar
- Machine precision tooling and prototype parts
- Operate manual mills, lathes, grinders
- Assist with CAD design when needed
- Maintain and repair tooling
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years' toolmaking or machining experience
- Trade qualification preferred (not essential)
- CAD experience (SolidWorks ideal)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, safety-focused, and a team player
