Ideal Transport Engineering Ltd is a family-owned heavy truck and trailer engineering facility, with a workshop that has a reputation for delivering high quality work. We are based in Pukekohe, provide good working conditions and have high quality equipment. Due to increased work load we are seeking an experienced enthusiastic, self-motivated fitter/welder.
Our ideal candidate would need to demonstrate the following skills: Be confident and flexible enough to work by yourself unsupervised. Be able to work and deal with any challenges confidently, efficiently and show initiative. Have a NZ Driver’s License. Qualifications are a bonus, but not essential as long as you have a strong knowledge and background in fabrication/engineering.
The successful applicant will be honest, reliable, hardworking and take pride in their work. They will also possess a professional attitude and work ethic, have the ability to operate under pressure and be comfortable working in a team environment.
An excellent remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant that reflects current skills and experience they have.
PLEASE NOTE: We will not consider candidates who require sponsorship or migrant workers who require a visa transfer.
To be considered for this role you need to be a NZ resident.
