Description
Company: Dynamic Tool & Die Location: East Tāmaki, Auckland Hours: 40 hours per week Pay: $45–$50 per hour (based on experience) Overtime: Time and a half paid for hours worked over 40 per week
About the Role Dynamic Tool & Die is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator to work in our East Tāmaki machine shop. The role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components for short-run work.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set, and operate CNC lathes
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ensure parts are machined to required tolerances and quality standards
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine setup
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and quality
- Reliable and able to work independently
Eligibility
- Must hold valid New Zealand work rights (NZ residency, citizenship, or a valid NZ work visa)
