FITTER WELDER

Transmech New Zealand is an airport-based company specializing in Mechanical and Engineering services in the Heavy Transport Industry and Transport Equipment. Transmech NZ is looking for an individual with a unique set of skills to join our on-call and workshop team.

If you are an experienced, qualified Fitter Welder in the Manufacture and repair of Heavy Transport Equipment, then we would like to hear from you. We serve a variety of customers, and while the work is predominantly transport-related, we also have a range of general engineering work.

Experience in the manufacture and repair of Heavy / Light Commercial Transport Equipment Good fabrication skills and able to read working drawings Good welding experience, Steel MIG, Aluminum MIG and TIG Welding. Welding Tickets are an advantage. Plant and Equipment Experience, e.g, Press Brake and Guillotine Operator. Motivated and enthusiastic about your work Punctual and reliable Able to work to deadlines, looking for a challenge. New Zealand citizen, work permit, or residency is a must, no exceptions.
