Manufacturing Engineer

We are a small Mid-Canterbury based company priding ourselves in providing a quality product to our customers. We are the premier manufacturers of ATV Bullbars and Accessories in New Zealand and a leading manufacturer of Ute Lids, Ute Decks and Horse Floats. We also have a busy light engineering workshop which incorporates our CNC Tube Bender and Metal Fabrication Department.

We require a keen, self motivated, mechanically minded person with problem solving skills to assist in the manufacturing of our ATV Bullbars, Mudflap Brackets and ATV Trailers. You will also have the opportunity to manufacture and assemble Ute Decks.

This position will require you to:

• Perform assembly work to detail
• Small production runs
• Working to timeframes
• Working off jigs
• Manufacturing and processing parts using patterns
• Able to work unsupervised and also as part of a team
• Welding Experience

Ashburton is conveniently located near Mount Hutt Ski Field, Opuke Thermal Hot Pools & Spa, Terrace Downs and Lake Hood for your water-skiing, wakeboarding and family BBQ's. Our back country and rivers offer plenty of hunting, fishing and tramping.
