Trades Assistant We’re looking for motivated and reliable Trades Assistants to join our team in Frankton. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who is mechanically minded and keen to gain hands-on experience working alongside qualified tradespeople. Location: Frankton, Hamilton Start date: Immediate start available Pay rate: $25–27 per hour (paid weekly) The role:
- Assisting qualified tradespeople on-site or in the workshop
- Using basic hand and power tools
- Supporting general mechanical tasks
- Keeping work areas clean and organised
What we’re looking for:
- OSH certification
- Full Class 1 licence
- Mechanical mindset and willingness to learn
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Pre-trade qualification (beneficial)
