About the Role
Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting Design Estimator role with our Omexom Gas - Regional team just for you!
Some of your key duties will include:
Manage the end-to-end tender process, including compliance with tender procedures, bid strategy, pricing, and approvals. Develop accurate, competitive cost estimates, programmes, and schedules using first principles and historical data. Lead value engineering, risk assessment, and cost optimisation to support profitable bids. Review and validate inputs from suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants, including commercial comparisons and assumptions. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prepare high-quality tender submissions, expressions of interest, and bid documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
Knowledge of the gas industry is an advantage CAD Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD or Autodesk DWG TrueView is required for reading and interpreting technical drawings. Knowledge of regulations, industry requirements, contracting procedures and contract law Computer Skills – Microsoft suite (including Excel, Word and Project) and estimation software
