As our school continues to grow, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Education Manager to join our skilled and friendly team.
About the Role The Education Manager plays a key leadership role in overseeing the delivery and quality of our educational programmes and lessons. You will work closely with director, teachers, students, and families to ensure high teaching standards, smooth daily operations, and an excellent learning experience across the school. Pay rate will be $30–$50 per hour, based on skills and experience
Key duties of the role:
- Plan, manage, and oversee music education programmes to ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes
- Lead, support, and mentor teaching staff, including performance management and professional development
- Develop and implement educational policies, procedures, and teaching standards
- Monitor student progress and learning outcomes, ensuring programmes meet individual and organisational goals
- Coordinate timetables, class schedules, and staff rosters
- Ensure compliance with relevant education standards, health and safety requirements, and internal policies
- Liaise with students, parents, and staff to address educational needs and feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support business growth through programme planning, enrolment management, and retention strategies
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree (e.g. Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Education, or Bachelor of Arts Management) or at least five years of relevant work experience in education
- Demonstrated experience in an education management or leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, students, and families
- Proven organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to lead, motivate, and support a diverse teaching team
- A passion for education and a commitment to high teaching standards
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience in music education is highly regarded but not essential.
- A second language (e.g. Chinese, Korean, Japanese, French, or Spanish) is preferrable but not essential.
