McNeill Distribution is seeking an authentic, people-focused General Manager to lead our 24/7 transport and distribution operations. We're looking for someone who builds connection, communicates clearly, and leads with integrity in every interaction.

About the Role As General Manager, you'll provide strategic direction, people leadership, and operational oversight across our logging and bulk transport teams, dispatch, and maintenance.
This is a key senior leadership position responsible for:
- Leading and developing employees across the business
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and values-led work environment
- Improving driver and fleet efficiency
- Enhancing operational performance and visibility
- P&L/cost control across commercial and operational performance
- Building strong relationships across the wider K G Richardson group and with external customers
- Ensuring safety, compliance, and a high-performing culture
You'll work closely with the Directors and collaborate with GMs across the group including Niagara Sawmilling Company, Log Marketing NZ, and TNZ Growing Products.
