Financial Administrator

Katikati Medical Centre is an extremely busy rural practice with a patient population of 9700. Being patient focused we believe in high quality care for our growing community. Working alongside our Senior Financial Administrator you will play a key role in managing debtor accounts, supporting finance processes, and providing backup assistance across payroll and accounts functions.

Hours – 20 hours per week to be spread over 4 days (5 hours per day). This position may also suit someone who needs to work school hours or is semi-retired.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and following up overdue debtor accounts. Building positive relationships with our patients, organisations, and other external stakeholders to resolve outstanding accounts. Assisting with bank reconciliations. Supporting accounts receivable and general finance administration tasks. Processing and monitoring claims and payments. General administration support for the Senior Financial Administrator.

About you:

Previous experience in a finance, accounts, administration role that has involved debtor management would be advantageous. Great communication skills – written and verbal Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy Great organisation and time management skills The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with kindness and respect A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a large team Eligible to work in New Zealand
