Medical Receptionist - 24 Hours per week

Katikati Medical Centre is an extremely busy rural practice with a patient population of 9700. Being patient-focused we believe in high quality care for our growing community. We are committed in providing equitable care for all of our patients. If you are passionate about delivering the best patient experience you can, then a fantastic opportunity has opened for someone to become part of a team that provides reception and administration support to our 13 doctors and 9 nurses.

Hours – 24 hours per week plus share in the weekend roster (approximately 1 in 4).

Requirements for the position:

• Supportive of diversity and have pro-equity values in line with Te Tiriti O Waitangi/Treaty of Waitangi
• Experience preferred, but not essential
• Experience in working collaboratively in a large team
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to prioritise workloads
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to use initiative/common sense
• Great communication skills – written and oral
• High level of accuracy – attention to detail
• Possess a positive attitude and the resilience needed to work in a front-line support position
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
