We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping people, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional experience. No two days are the same, and you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
*Welcoming and assisting patients at reception *Answering and managing incoming phone calls *Booking and coordinating appointments *Processing payments and invoicing *Managing patient enquiries *General administrative and clerical duties *Supporting the wider clinical and administrative team
We are looking for someone who:
*Is genuinely committed to providing outstanding patient care and service *Is dependable, dedicated, and takes ownership of their work *Has previous experience in a medical reception or similarly demanding customer service/administration role *Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Can multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment *Has strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail *Is accurate and confident with financial administration *Remains calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure *Works well independently and as part of a team *Is flexible and willing to assist with annual leave and sick leave cover when required *Maintains the highest standards of confidentiality, discretion, and empathy
Previous experience in primary healthcare and knowledge of Medtech Evolution would be an advantage; however full training will be provided for the right candidate.

This position offers a minimum of 25 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours to cover leave and meet the needs of the practice. Days, shifts, and remuneration will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
