We're Hiring: Casual Support Workers – Waikato & Bay of Plenty!
Location: Tauranga/Te Puke, Bay of Plenty and surrounding areas.
Employment Type: Casual / On-Call
Are you experienced Support Worker looking for flexible hours and meaningful work? As our services expand across Waikato / Bay of Plenty, we're looking for reliable and compassionate individuals to join our casual support team in Waikato / Bay of Plenty.
About the role:
You will be providing essential support to people in their homes and community, including:
- Personal cares (showering, dressing, toileting)
- Medication support
- Meal preparation and home management tasks
- Assistance with mobility and daily routines
- Community outing and companionship
You'll work across a variety of shifts – morning, lunch, afternoon, evenings, and weekends – based on client needs and your availability.
About You:
We're looking for support workers who:
- Have previous experience in disability, aged care, mental health, or community support.
- Are confident working independently in home-based settings.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show empathy, patience, and professionalism at all times.
- Hold a Full or Restricted NZ driver's licence (own transport preferred).
- Are eligible to work in New Zealand.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing) are a plus, but not essential if you bring strong experience and the right attitude.
