We have three permanent full time positions and one permanent part time position available:
Position 1: 75hrs a fortnight (Full time)
Position 2: 67.5hrs a fortnight (Full time)
Position 3: 67.5hrs a fortnight (Full time)
Position 4: 60hrs a fortnight (Part time)
Pay rate between $24.00 and $30.00 dependant on qualifications and experience
Te mahi angitu - The opportunity
Based at the Trust's residential home in Burnside Christchurch you will:
- Help empower our kiritaki/clients to achieve independence, inclusion and quality of life
- Work as part of a team, where no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to positively influence people's lives while making a difference
- Work in partnership with the kiritaki we serve providing support to maximise independence, encourage choice, and participation in activities, adhering to the values of the organisation and active support principles
- Help kiritaki with personal support (daily cares) and other daily living tasks. This will involve all aspects of personal cares, including hoisting, bowel cares, and administering medications are per LFBIT policy
- Be provided with training to support high needs cares such as PEG/PEJ and tracheostomy cares
