Join our mental health team as a housekeeper and keep our Christchurch residential property clean and presentable. Tuesday - Saturday for 4 hrs a day between 8.30am - 12.30pm, although some flexibility may be available for the right candidate.

The role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
**** Te Ao Mārama is a peer led acute alternative to hospital supporting up to seven tangata whaiora at a time with a mix of peer support workers, health professionals, housekeeper and chef.
We're looking for someone to help keep our complex in tip-top shape, and that's where you come in! You'll be responsible for everything from cleaning bathrooms and floors to doing laundry. It's important to us that your respectful of people's privacy and confidentiality, and you'll even get to help with shopping and meal prep for the people we support. We're committed to maintaining our high standards while following our policies and keeping everyone safe. If the service vehicle needs cleaning, you'll handle that too. Thais is a great opportunity for someone who loves to clean and help out!
About You | Mōu
- Ideally you'll hold the NZCHW L4 or an equivalent qual and intentional peer support training
- Experience working in busy health setting and supporting people with mental health needs
- Full drivers license
- You'll have had your own lived experience of mental health and have completed a peer support training - preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning
- You're punctual, have high attention to detail, excellent time management and organisation skills
