About the role

As a Caregiver at Alden, you'll deliver high-quality personal care and support residents' well-being. You'll work closely with nursing staff and the care team to maintain smooth, safe, and culturally responsive care throughout your shift.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide personal care with respect and compassion
• Administer medications in line with your Medication Competency and Alden policies
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Observe and report changes in resident health and behaviour
• Maintain a safe, clean, and culturally responsive environment, upholding Tikanga Maori practices
• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure continuity and quality of care

Skills & experience

• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa (we are unable to provide visa support for this role)
• Experience in an aged care environment (experienced caregivers preferred)
• Strong understanding of Health & Disability Sector Standards
• Calm, professional, and reliable approach
