Are you a night owl who enjoys working nights and making a difference in the lives of the elderly? At Alden Rhapsody you can provide compassionate, professional care that makes residents feel safe, valued, and supported every night.
About the role As a Caregiver at Alden, you'll deliver high-quality personal care and support residents' wellbeing. You'll work closely with nursing staff and the care team to maintain smooth, safe, and culturally responsive care throughout your shift.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide personal care with respect and compassion
- Administer medications in line with your Medication Competency and Alden policies
- Support residents' physical, emotional, and social wellbeing
- Observe and report changes in resident health and behaviour
- Maintain a safe, clean, and culturally responsive environment, upholding Tikanga Maori practices
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure continuity and quality of care

Skills & experience
- NZQA Level 2 or 3 Health & Wellbeing qualification (essential)
- Experience in aged care, preferably as a caregiver
- Strong understanding of Health & Disability Sector Standards
- Calm, professional, and reliable approach
- NZ residency or valid NZ work visa (essential)
