Experienced Caregiver | Casual | Alden Rhapsody, New Plymouth
Be the calm, trusted presence that helps residents feel safe through the 24/7 roster.
About the role
Provide high-quality over day and night care that supports residents' safety, comfort, and dignity. You'll work closely with the Registered Nurse and day/night team to ensure smooth, consistent care across your shift.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver respectful, compassionate personal care
- Support residents with mobility and over day/night needs
- Monitor wellbeing and report changes promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation and handovers
- Uphold safe practices and Tikanga Maori principles

Skills & experience To succeed in this role, you'll have:
- Proven caregiving experience, ideally in aged care
- NZ recognised Caregiver qualification (preferred)
- Confidence working night shifts independently
- Strong understanding of Health & Disability Sector Standards
- Calm, reliable, and professional approach
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
