About the Role: We are looking for an empathetic, passionate support worker to join our team committed to providing genuine care, warmth, and kindness to the people who live and work in the home If you are someone who brings compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in making a positive difference to others lives please apply.
Hours: 32 hours per fortnight with opportunity to pick up additional shifts Week 1: Saturday and Sunday 6.45am - 2.45pm Week 2: Saturday and Sunday 3pm 11pm
We're Looking For Someone With:
- A Passion for People: Be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with people
- Empathy & Understanding: An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles.
- Team Player: Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset.
- Practical Skills: The ability to carry out personal cares, including showering and dressing.
- Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.
- Previous Experience: Two years Support Worker or Health Sector experience essential
