Caregiver | Casual & Part-Time | Alden Palliser House, Greytown

Night shifts required

Provide compassionate, attentive care that helps residents feel safe and supported overnight.

About the role

Deliver high-quality personal care and support residents' wellbeing during night shifts. You'll work closely with nursing staff and the wider care team to ensure safe, respectful, and culturally responsive care.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide personal care with respect and compassion
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and social wellbeing
• Monitor and report changes in resident health or behaviour
• Maintain a safe, clean, and calm night environment
• Follow care plans and facility policies
• Work collaboratively to ensure continuity of care

Skills & experience To succeed in this role, you'll have:

• Experience in aged care or a similar care environment
• Confidence working night shifts independently
• Strong understanding of safe care practices
• Calm, reliable, and professional approach
• Ability to start within the next two weeks (desirable)
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
