Community Support Worker โ€” Supported Independent Living

Part-time | 12 hours per week ๐Ÿ’ฐ $23.95 - $29.10 per hour ๐Ÿ“ Wellsford, Auckland

Do you believe that hobbies build confidence, community creates belonging, and everyone deserves a life filled with purpose? Spectrum Care is looking for energetic, compassionate individuals to join our Supported Independent Living team โ€” helping people with disabilities live ordinary, extraordinary lives.

This position is based in Wellsford and ideally seeking an applicant who lives locally or within the surrounding area. Looking for a support worker who enjoys being active in the community and supporting meaningful engagement. An interest in arts and crafts would be ideal; however, a willingness to try new activities and explore new interests is just as important. The successful applicant will be a positive motivator with a vibrant, energetic personality, who can encourage participation and build strong, supportive relationships.

About Supported Independent Living

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is all about empowering adults with physical and intellectual disabilities to live in their own homes and be active members of their communities. We provide tailored, one-on-one support that helps people build routines, develop life skills, and pursue personal goals โ€” whether that's joining a local club, finding meaningful work, or simply enjoying a hobby.

Support is offered across a range of hours (6am-9pm, Monday to Sunday), and is shaped by each person's unique needs, interests, and aspirations.
