Support Staff – Part Time (Avonhead)

• Part-time hours - 52 hours per fortnight 
• Consistent hours (3pm to 9pm) and regular days off (Friday & Saturday)
• $24.35 - $29.54 per hour (depending on qualifications)

About the role:Join our team as a part-time Support Staff member based in Avonhead where you'll play a vital role supporting people with a learning disability in a warm, home-like environment.

You'll support them with everyday activities such as shopping, meal preparation, household chores, personal care, and community outings. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to build trusted relationships and provide compassionate, person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs.

About you:

• A positive attitude to supporting people with learning disability.
• NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or equivalent (preferred but not essential) 
• A full New Zealand driver's licence (essential)
• Great communication skills (written and verbal)
• Right to work in New Zealand 
• Available to work 3pm to 9pm

Note: Although Hawksbury is accredited to hire staff on an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), we do not have a Job Check for this position so cannot support applicant with the visa process.
