Description - InternalHawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital, A2 Medical Renal Ward Health Care Assistant Permanent, Part-time 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE) rotating shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays. About the Role

If you have a desire to help people, an enthusiastic nature and are fit and active then this role is for you!

Your new role will include providing clinical, technical and clerical support to the nursing team and other professional staff working within the multidisciplinary team, and to ensure and prioritise a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Applicants must ideally have recent health care experience and a passion for working with and helping people.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

Previous experience working in a health care or hospital environment (preferred but not essential) Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient-centred approach The ability to work well within a team and remain calm under pressure Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role, including manual handling
