🌱 Fixed-Term Position (5 Months) – Te Oranga Pūmanawa Tues–Fri, 32 hours per week

At Te Oranga Pōmanawa, our mahi is grounded in Te Ao Māori values, tikanga, and manaakitanga. We walk alongside rangatahi who are not currently in employment or education, supporting them to reconnect, rediscover their strengths, and move confidently toward brighter, sustainable futures.

We are looking for a bubbly, vibrant kaimahi with a passion for uplifting youth and the ability to juggle many hats in a fun, supportive, and rewarding environment. You’ll be joining a small but passionate team committed to making a genuine difference. Ngā Mahi / About the Role

He mahi kanorau tēnei—no two days will be the same.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Van driving – pick-ups and drop-offs
  • Participation in wānanga and providing tautoko
  • Pastoral care and wellbeing support for rangatahi
  • Guiding rangatahi into education, training, or career pathways
  • Shopping and practical support duties
  • General admin mahi as required Every day will be different, and every day will matter.

Ko Wai Koe / We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Brings bubbly, uplifting energy and good mauri into the space
  • Has a real aroha for rangatahi and their development
  • Can multitask and wear different hats gracefully
  • Enjoys teamwork, builds strong, trusting relationships and whanaungatanga
  • Shows integrity, reliability, and genuine care in all mahi

Ngā Pōkenga / Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in Aotearoa New Zealand
  • Hold a Full NZ Driver Licence
  • Able to pass a drug test
  • Able to pass a Police Vetting check (as you will be working with youth)

Ngā Haerenga Mahi / Position Details:

  • Fixed Term: 5 months
  • Hours: 32 hours per week (Tuesday–Friday)
  • Wage: Based on experience
  • Application Closing Date: Saturday 13 December 2025
  • Interviews: 15–19 December 2025
  • Position Commences: Tuesday 13 January 2026
