We're looking for Support Workers with an understanding of Traumatic Brain Injuries to support our clients with community-based rehabilitation type support, companionship, and everyday encouragement.

About the role: You'll be supporting a variety of complex clients. Your role will be key in helping them maintain their independence and enjoy life to the fullest.
Key Responsibilities and skills required vary client to client but include:
Rebuilding their life skills
- Budgeting
- Meal planning
- Being able to fit in with client's family life / busy household
- Friendly and good sense of humour
- Effective communicator
- Calm under pressure
- Assist with personal care routines
- Help encourage and accompany the client on outings
- Drive or accompany the client safely to and from appointments or activities
- Support general wellbeing and daily routines to enable independence
You will help by building social connections:
- Support with integrating back into the community
- Support and identify attending groups
- Building social networks
You will help them find: Meaningful employment opportunities by:
- Supporting clients to find paid or volunteer opportunities
- Creating and writing applications, cover letters and resumes.
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine passion for caregiving
- Prior experience in healthcare support work
- Level 2, 3 or 4 health qualification is required
- Comfortable with personal care tasks
- Confident driver with a clean license
- Positive, patient, and proactive attitude
