About the Role
The Coordinator for TeKokonga SubAcute leads the daily operations of the unit, ensuring highquality, culturally responsive care that supports clients and their whanau in their recovery journey. This role provides daytoday leadership for staff, coordinates care planning and activities, and works closely with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to ensure seamless and effective support. With a strong focus on client wellbeing, you will help enhance clients skills, independence, and confidence while maintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.

About the Team/Service/Location
The Far North Mental Health and Addictions Service is a supportive, multidisciplinary group committed to providing compassionate, recoveryfocused care for tangata whaiora and their whanau. Youll be part of a collaborative service that values cultural safety, teamwork, and making a genuine difference for the Mid and Far North community.

About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
A National Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions Level 4 or a health-related qualification At least 1 year of experience in Mental Health settings Demonstrated ability to deliver client focused services Excellent communication and engagement skills, including the ability to build effective relationships with clients, whanau, and partner agencies.
