We urgently need Youth Support Workers in the Waikato. If you live nearby, or are keen to travel from surrounding regions, we want to hear from you.

As a Youth Support Worker, you’ll work alongside rangatahi with high and complex needs, supporting them to build routine, connection, and a life that feels worth showing up for.

Our Waikato region is growing, and in 2026 we’re expanding the support we offer rangatahi and whānau. That growth means we need more values-led, grounded people now to join our team.

• Work life balance! We often work 48hr - 72 hr blocks per week, so you will have 4 - 5 days off per week to enjoy all of the things you love to do outside of mahi! We sometimes have shorter shifts available too 4 - 8 hrs (Working regular hours will require you to cover 1 weekend shift every 2 weeks)
• Travel to different parts of the North Island for mahi.

• Tautoko - Support tāngata whaiora with an mental health concern or intellectual disability to create a daily routine and establish activities.

Must have:

• Full drivers license
• Level 4 or above Qualification in a health or youth related field
• Experience in healthcare/community sector working with rangatahi/youth
• You must have your own reliable vehicle - Current warrant and registration
