We are looking for experienced Youth Support Workers to tautoko a rangatahi with high and complex needs.
This is not a standard support role. You will be working with a rangatahi who requires:
48-hour shifts Constant supervision (eyes on at all times) A worker who can stay mentally present and engaged Someone who is always thinking ahead, planning, adapting, and responding early Can hold firm, consistent boundaries set by the team and Clinical Lead — even when challenged
This rangatahi can have a ~15-minute bounce rate, so your ability to stay focused, redirect, and maintain structure is critical.
You’ll be working alongside a wider team who stay connected, share responsibility, and back each other.

Must have:
- Full driver's license
- Level 4 or above Qualification in a health or youth related field
- Experience in healthcare/community sector working with rangatahi/youth
- You must have your own reliable vehicle - Current warrant and registration
