You will support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives, helping them achieve their personal dreams and goals by doing the things they want to do such as going swimming, attending sporting events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping. The list is endless.

  • People who are passionate about helping others, and are kind and understanding
  • Good communication skills
  • Weekend availability is a must
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • A full driver's licence and ownership of your own vehicle is essential
  • A desire to support people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes
  • Someone who has the initiative to encourage people towards their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box
  • A respectful approach to others' thinking and ways of living that may be different from your own

Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness are important in this role, as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
