Bai Pho Traditional Thai Massage & Spa in Greenlane, Auckland is seeking Massage Therapists who will provide a high quality of therapeutic massage and day spa treatments. You will be joining a dedicated team providing premium levels of massage therapy for our customers health, wellness and relaxation.
This position has a minimum of 32 hours per week on rostered days Monday to Sunday between the hours of 10.00am and 7.00pm. A minimum hourly rate of $30.00. There is potential to earn overtime.
Applicants for this position must have either NZ citizenship, NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. You must prove you are in good health and of good character. We provide training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to excel.
Minimum Skill and Qualification Requirements. To prove you are qualified for the role, you must meet one of the following standards:
- Qualification: You will have an NZQA-accredited Level 5 Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage. OR
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant, full-time work experience. You must provide verifiable evidence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide various massage and body treatments, including Thai traditional massage, deep tissue massage, hot stone therapy, aromatherapy, facial massage, body scrubs and wraps, and foot massage.
- Ensure spa presentation and cleanliness meet spa standards.
- Ensure all treatments meet the spa standards, providing care and attention to detail.
- Conduct consultations with customers regarding their health conditions and treatment needs.
- Recommend suitable spa treatments or products to support customer requirements.
- Ensure treatment rooms meet the spa’s hygiene and safety standards.
- Regularly check and maintain spa equipment to ensure optimal condition.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Promote spa products and treatment packages for customers to enhance customer loyalty.
- Handle customer feedback professionally, resolving issues and escalating when necessary.
- Work with spa team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in training and development to improve skills and service quality.
- Administer uniformity in treatment skills and standards.
- Stay updated with new treatments, promotions, spa products, and ingredients.
- Clean up after each client and at the end of each shift.
- Assist to maintain stock control levels and minimize product wastage by knowing the correct regime.
- Ensure supplies of linen are maintained in the spa and appropriately stored.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as directed by the manager.
