Massage Therapist

We are a small to medium business who are looking for 4 Massage Therapists who are trained in Traditional Thai Massage to join our busy team. Our business Sukh Sabai Thai Massage is based in the Glen Eden, Auckland and is involved in the provision of remedial Traditional Thai massage services. Our business has been successfully running for over 2 years and presently has a staff of 4. We require 4 experienced massage therapists to join our team and aid us with an ever increasing workload. The position on offer is for a Permanent Fulltime Position. Suitable applicants should have a minimum of 2 years work experience in Traditional Thai Massage techniques or a qualification in Traditional Thai Massage . The successful applicant should have the following skills to perform the following duties. Duties & Tasks Include: Assess client’s physical condition and case history. Advise clients on treatment routines available including stretching and relaxation techniques. Massage soft tissue of the body for relaxation and to assist healing. Apply massage techniques to body to enhance performance and prevent injury. Combine massage techniques to promote relaxation, improve circulation and relieve tension. Assess and treat areas of concern to heal, relieve and provide rehabilitation advise. May employ other techniques such as acupressure, heat therapy, essential oils, herbal, mineral and wet compression to aid healing and improve massage experience. The successful candidate should Have good health, character and a good work ethic with a can-do attitude. Be able to work unsupervised, be physically fit and reliable. Remuneration will be in the range of $25 to $30 per hour as a start rate and is indicative of the applicant’s background, skills and past work experience. The successful candidate could earn up to $32 per hour. The employee is offered a normal work week of 32 hours with overtime available as and when required. Presently staff work an average of 40 hours per week with normal work hours being Monday to Sunday 9.00am to 7pm. Employees are guaranteed payment for at least 30 hours per week.
