About Coastal View Village Coastal View is nestled atop the Tahunanui Hills with stunning views over Tasman Bay and Rabbit Island. ‘The Yacht Club’ opened in June 2025. About the role – Mo te Turanga In this full-time role, you will support the Activities Head of Department to deliver a dynamic and engaging programme that keeps our residents active, connected and enjoying village life. This includes running a range of TRILife fitness and wellbeing classes, supporting residents of varying abilities, and helping to create an energetic, welcoming atmosphere throughout the village. You’ll be involved in organising travel clubs and village outings, including driving the village bus, as well as planning and delivering popular cabaret evenings, themed socials, and large-scale village events that are highlights of the calendar. The role also supports the coordination of the monthly activities schedule, contributions to the bi monthly newsletter, and a variety of on site events that bring residents together. At the heart of the role is TRILife, Qestral’s in house designed, award winning wellness programme, built around Exercise, Nutrition and State of Mind. Embedded into everyday village life, TRILife supports active ageing, independence and meaningful connection. Your goal is to keep our residents (65+) active, socially connected and fulfilled.

About you - Ngā Kōrero Mōu · You are organised and highly motivated · Strong ability to relate to others, creative and interactive · Enjoy being part of a team but have the initiative and confidence to work alone · Upbeat, charismatic, resilient, and confident to lead a group or class (exercising, aquacise, yoga etc) · Accuracy and attention to detail · Have excellent communication skills, are proactive and can think on your feet · Great computer skills and experience using MS office suite · Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as our activity program requires · Clean full New Zealand drivers’ licence is essential. A passenger endorsement an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided · You want to be a valued team member and can offer a high standard of service and support for our residents · And most importantly, can share in our core values - Ō Tātou Uara of Compassion, Collaboration, Excellence and Vision.
