About the Team/Service
Reporting to the Director of Auckland Hospital Foundation and working closely with senior leaders, you will drive a comprehensive programme of donor engagement, stewardship, and recognition - unlocking new sources of revenue and long-term support for the Foundation.
About you
As Senior Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying and cultivating meaningful relationships with donors, prospects, and corporate partners. Your goal? To secure major gifts, sponsorships and contributions of expertise that directly impact patient care and medical innovation.
Build and manage relationships with major donors, corporate sponsors, and strategic partners Develop compelling proposals and impact reports Collaborate across departments to align funding opportunities with hospital priorities Uphold high standards of donor confidentiality, integrity, and trust Contribute to a culture of innovation, agility, and growth within a dynamic, mission-driven team
What Youll Bring:
Proven experience securing major gifts or partnerships Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills High integrity and discretion with sensitive donor information Self-motivation and the ability to thrive in a start-up-style, fast-moving environment Strong writing skills for proposal and report development Competence with MS Office and donor CRM systems
Desirable:
Experience with Raiser's Edge Classic or NXT Fundraising experience in healthcare or higher education
