Our Auckland-based client has a very rare but exciting opportunity for Remote Nurse Practitioners with an interest / passion in ADHD. Generally we are looking for someone who has mental health scope, ADHD experience (a bonus but full training provided).

This is a remote role, where you can work from home, but still have access to well-established systems, clinical support (3 x psychiatrists readily available) and high tech IT supplied, to help you do your job efficiently.

As a Nurse Practitioner ADHD assessor you will take online appointments, manage the assessment process and work closely with your client to establish appropriate supports including prescribing medication or additional referrals as needed.

You will manage your own caseload, report writing and prescribing, but be in ongoing connection with the rest of the team.

You will need:

• Registration with the NZ Nursing Council as a Nurse Practitioner
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Empathy, compassion, maturity & ability to put people at ease
• Strong decision-making skills
• High degree of accuracy, report writing
• IT competence
• Excellent written/spoken communication skills
• And a love for what you do.
