About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team in Ward 14.
Our Nursing team provides specialised care for Nephrology and General Medicine patients. This includes renal transplant care and dialysis. We provide a comprehensive orientation for all new staff and one on one training days.
About the Service
Ward 14 is a 24-bed ward that specialises in the care of nephrology patients including acute and planned renal transplant care/services for people not only in Canterbury and Westland but also Otago and Southland, along with general medicine patients which covers a wide range of acute medical conditions.
About You
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a background in nephrology or general medicine. You will be flexible and adaptable, have a desire to learn, demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and work effectively as a member of our team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work autonomously
- Experience in an acute ward setting or dialysis is desirable.
- Ability to work a rotating roster
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
