About the Role

Midcentral are offering permanent part time Registered Midwife positions in our Primary Birthing Unit at Te Papaioea Birthing Centre in Palmerston North. Our lovely facility is a 7 bedded, sole charge, midwifery led unit. Whilst working in partnership with their LMC, our Midwives provide postnatal care for women of our community, plus provide intrapartum support to LMCs. We aspire to having a workforce reflective of the community we serve achieving equitable outcomes for all.

We are looking for enthusiastic Registered Midwives with a current APC willing to work rostered rotating duties over 24 hours a day/7 days per week. We offer 12-hour duties. Our facility is BFHI accredited and our Midwives are passionate about supporting women navigate their matrescence.
