About the Role

Do you have a passion to keep our patients safe while in hospital? Then this is the role for you.

Quality improvement is around assurance and improving already existing systems,

As a QI coordinator you will have different work each day dependant of the demand and the health team you are working with. While it may be completing an adverse event review, it could also be creating a new way to improve something at the hospital.

About the Team/Service/ Location

The patient safety team have portfolios that cover infection prevention, family violence, education in protection of children, mental health quality team, mortality and morbidity reviewer, patient quality coordinators, document control, customer relations, privacy and moving and handling roles.

  • Experience in leading quality improvement programmes
  • Post graduate qualifications in quality improvement
