About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to apply for the role of Safe Staffing Programme Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in data, quality improvement, and leading a programme that supports and strengthens the organisation. The successful applicant will provide line management, leadership and direction to a high-performing and supportive team, playing a key role in driving safe, effective, and sustainable staffing across the organisation.
As a Safe Staffing Programme Lead, you will manage and provide operational leadership and facilitation support for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Safe Staffing programme in Te Tai Tokerau. A primary focus of the role is on the sequencing of activities to ensure programme delivery is efficient and effective. The Safe Staffing Programme Lead works with the Safe Staffing Programme Consultants (Safe Staffing Healthy Workplaces (SSHW) Unit), Safe Staffing Council and health union partners to provide overall programme coordination and management, programme planning, improvement planning, as well as evaluation and interpretation of data.

About you
This is an exciting opportunity to provide coordination and facilitation of the Safe Staffing Programme throughout Te Tai Tokerau. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high quality service delivery and whanau centred care.
New Zealand Registered Nurse, New Zealand Registered Midwife, or Allied Health Professional with current annual practicing certificate Relevant Post Graduate Diploma with relevance to this role Designated Senior Nurse PDRP/Midwife Quality Leadership Programme or Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples) Nursing, allied health or midwifery leadership experience A proven track record of project implementation/ coordination An ability to work with all levels of management, clinical and administration staff Experience at group facilitation Experience in health research/information use Quantitative analytical skills
