About the Role
As a vital member of our ED Administrative Support team, you will ensure our department is covered 24 hours / 7 days, working a rotating roster of early, late, and night shifts. We are looking for energetic applicants who embrace the variety of shift work and enjoy a flexible, rostered schedule. No two shifts are ever the same! During your initial training phase, it is important that you are available to gain experience across all shift types. You will work alongside a talented multi-disciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other clinical and administrative professionals.
Your primary mission is to provide exceptional reception and administration support to ensure the smooth flow of patients through the department, including the meticulous maintenance of patient documentation. Hours for this role are on an as-required basis.

ED Shifts:
Early: 06.45 - 15.15 hours OR 07.45 - 16.15 hours OR 09.30 - 18.00 hours
Late: 15.00 - 23.30 hours
Night: 23.00 - 07.00 hours

About you
To excel in this role, you will bring a positive attitude, a friendly approach to customer service, and the ability to master new tasks quickly while multi-tasking in a dynamic clinical environment.
Essential Qualifications:
Previous experience in administration.
Fast, accurate data entry skills (30+ words per minute)
A high degree of computer literacy.
The ability to work confidently and autonomously.
Full flexibility to work across early, late, and night shifts.
Experience with hospital management systems and a working knowledge of medical terminology will be considered a distinct advantage.
