Pharmacy Technician Trainee

We’re looking for a pharmacy assistant to step into pharmacy technician training and the dispensary. This isn’t your typical technician job. You’ll still do core customer service and shop assistant work. But we require this person to be able to swing between serving customers and learning the many diverse jobs in the dispensary.

You’ll work alongside two experienced technicians and our pharmacist, helping keep everything running smoothly day to day. As part of the role you will be required to help with the daily orders and customer queries. Being organised, quick to learn, and excellent with people matters just as much as technical ability.

About you: *Currently working as a pharmacy assistant, previous pharmacy experience or relevant overseas pharmacy experience. *Great multi tasker *Excellent customer service skills. *Confident with general dispensary workflow *Strong written and spoken communication skills. *Clear, friendly and professional *Organised and able to stay on top of a busy day *Open to learning new systems and ways of working

Previous pharmacy experience is essential.

What the role looks like: *Monday to Thursday, 8:30am till 5:30pm *Saturday 9:00am till 12:00noon (this is non-negotiable) *Rate: $23.95 to $27.00 per hour depending on experience. *Small, friendly team *We use RxONE, so previous experience will be preferred.
