ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll have the opportunity to work alongside Graeme Hayhow, one of the most respected physios in New Zealand, who has built a renowned career working with some of New Zealand's most elite sports teams and athletes. You will also work alongside a wonderful team of experienced and motivated clinicians.
THE ROLE
The role will see you provide a broad array of musculoskeletal physiotherapy treatments including:
- Injury prevention and education
- Exercise prescription, movement analysis and corrective exercise
- Muscle balance
- Pilates (preferable but not essential)
- Pelvic floor physiotherapy (if qualified)
- Running analysis (if qualified)
- Strength and conditioning (if qualified)
- Dry needling and acupuncture (if qualified)
- Pre and post-op rehabilitation
- Sports injury rehabilitation and taping
- Spinal manipulation and mobilisation
HOURS
Part-time contractor role. Current clinic sessions are:
- Monday to Friday: 5pm to 8pm
- Saturday: 8am to 12pm
- Sunday: 9am to 1pm
We are flexible about how many of these sessions you take For the right candidate, there is also potential to extend hours through:
- Off-site work with sports teams
- Use of our large on-site gym facility for rehabilitation and conditioning sessions We are open to discussing how this could work for the right person and we are happy to discuss options that work for both of us.
REMUNERATION
Independent contractor, 60% of collected fees. Current caseload: typical earnings around $45-$50 per clinical hour, based on existing bookings. Growth potential: as your list builds, a fully booked 45-minute schedule at our current fee level equates to around $90-$95 per clinical hour (before tax), depending on caseload and payer mix.
We will discuss the details openly at interview so you can see how this translates into weekly earnings at different booking levels.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- NZ-registered physiotherapist with current APC (all applicants must hold current NZ physiotherapy registration)
- Bachelor of Health Science (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy) or similar
- Strong interest and skills in MSK and sports physiotherapy
- Acupuncture, dry needling or Pilates qualification (preferable but not essential)
- Comfortable working independently but happy to collaborate in a small team
- High level of customer service, presentation and communication skills
- Open to both experienced clinicians and new graduates
