Vet Nurse

We’re looking for a permanent, full-time Veterinary Nurse to join our Greymouth Companion Animal team. Whether you’re experienced or just starting your nursing journey, if you’re passionate about animal care and keen to learn, you’ll fit right in.

Your responsibilities will include: *Surgical nursing including, hospital prep/care, anaesthetics and animal handling *Vet nurse consults and client education *Collecting and submitting diagnostic samples *Digital radiography and imaging *Fluid therapy and IV catheter placement

Ideally you will have: *Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) *Strong experience and knowledge of clinical nursing skills (or the desire to learn)  *Excellent communication skills both written and verbal  *Good time management and be a great team player  *A friendly personality and enjoy being part of a well-functioning team *An organised, energetic, and motivated approach
