Food & Beverage Attendant, Auckland Airport

The opportunity

Delaware North New Zealand is seeking casual Food and Beverage Attendants to join our team at Auckland Airport, working across our cafés, restaurants and bars. As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you’ll prepare drinks, serve food and craft quality coffee - all while delivering exceptional service. Every shift brings variety, excitement and the chance to create unforgettable guest experiences.

This role requires flexibility as there are various shifts available.

What you will do?

• Provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests
• Prepare beverages, including barista and bar service
• Be confident in daily menu offerings, provide recommendations and accommodate dietary requests
• Assist with set‑up, pack‑down and maintaining clean service areas
• Operate POS systems and manage cash handling
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a seamless dining experience
• Maintain all hygiene, safety and compliance standards

More about you

• Previous food and beverage experience in a fast-paced environment
• Food Safety Certificate
• Bartender skills with beer, wine and cocktail knowledge is highly desirable
• Barista skills or coffee-making experience is highly desirable
• Passion for hospitality and creating expectational guest experience
• POS and cash-handling capability
• Ability to a work a variety of shifts over a 7-day a week roster including days and nights
