Bar Attendants Wanted

We are an Auckland CBD-based hospitality venue offering beverages, private karaoke room experiences, and private function services. We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Bar Attendant to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional and responsible manner
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service, including taking orders and responding to customer needs
• Assist with the preparation and service of private functions and group bookings
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and service areas
• Handle customer feedback, including complaints, in a professional manner
• Process payments and ensure accurate handling of transactions
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations

Working Hours

• Shifts typically from 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Minimum 30 hours per week
• Weekend and evening shifts are required

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is required
• Must be able to provide verifiable references
• Demonstrated understanding of good customer service practices
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work late-night shifts
• Must have reliable transportation for late working hours
• Ability to work efficiently during busy periods and private functions
• Positive attitude and strong service mindset

Additional Information

• Hourly rate: $24 – $28 per hour, depending on experience
• Full training will be provided
• Applicants must have a clean criminal record, including no drug-related offences
