We’re looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Foodservice Beverage Specialist to bring our Barker’s beverage range to life across cafés, bars, restaurants, wholesalers, and distributors throughout New Zealand.
This hands-on, customer-facing role plays a critical part in building awareness, trial, and driving sales growth as we scale our beverage portfolio. Acting as a brand ambassador within the trade, you’ll deliver exceptional brand experiences while also contributing to business development, market execution, and future innovation.

Key Responsibilities
· Act as a passionate brand ambassador, bringing Barker’s story, values, and beverage range to life in trade
· Deliver engaging tastings, product education sessions, and trade training with confidence and authenticity
· Represent Barker’s at trade shows, events, launches, and in‑market activations
· Grow new accounts and ranging opportunities within your defined territory
· Build strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, hospitality groups, and key venues
· Support and execute go‑to‑market plans for new beverage launches alongside Sales and Marketing
· Take ownership of sales performance and support the delivery of revenue and growth targets
· Provide regular market feedback and insights on customer needs, trends, flavours, competitors, and innovation opportunities
· Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, R&D) to support strong execution and future innovation pipeline.
What We’re Looking For
· Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or related field
· 3+ years’ experience in beverage or foodservice business development, hospitality sales, or brand‑focused commercial roles
· Strong existing trade relationships within cafés, bars, restaurants, or beverage channels
· Confident, engaging communicator with a natural ability to build rapport
· Highly organised and self‑driven, with the ability to work autonomously
· A genuine passion for food, beverage, and delivering standout brand experiences
· Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and events as required
· Full New Zealand driver’s licence
