Aquatic Attendant

Role Overview

Bay Venues oversees over 25 facilities in Tauranga Moana, including gyms and aquatic centers such as Baywave. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a casual Aquatic Attendant, assisting with birthday parties at Baywave and supporting the Lifeguard team. Responsibilities

You will be the friendly face behind unforgettable poolside celebrations at Baywave. Your duties include welcoming families, engaging with children, coordinating party activities, ensuring each celebration runs smoothly in a safe environment, setting up and packing down party spaces, assisting guests during their visit, and supporting the overall presentation of the facility. At times, you will assist the Lifeguard team poolside by helping promote safe behaviour and contribute to a positive aquatic experience for all customers.

Shifts are casual and primarily on weekends between 9 am and 6 pm, with some afternoon and school holiday work. Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children and creating fun, memorable birthday experiences.
• Communicate confidently and professionally with families and guests.
• Bring energy, reliability, and a positive attitude to each shift.
• Follow safety instructions and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
