Full-Time Barista Wanted – Join Our Award-Winning Bakery Location: Michaels Bakery – Hillmorton, 2d Coppell Place, Hillmorton, Christchurch Hours: Tuesday – Saturday | 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

We are on the lookout for a superstar Barista to join our friendly, hard-working crew at Michaels Bakery, an award-winning, community-loved bakery in the heart of Hillmorton. This is not just a coffee-making gig – it’s your chance to be a key part of something special.

What You will Be Doing:

• Make great coffee – show us your barista skills and take pride in every cup you serve.
• Delight customers – bring a smile, have a chat, and create a top-tier customer experience.
• Support the shop – help stock and present our beautiful bakery products.
• Lend a hand in the bakery – assist with prep work, basic tasks, and order packing.
• Keep it clean – help maintain a spotless Barista space and Bakery, from dishes to counters.
• Juggle tasks like a pro – time management is key in our busy environment

What We are Looking For:

• Experienced Barista with proven skills (you will get a chance to show us)
• Excellent communicator with a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Someone who is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work.
• Able to handle a busy environment while staying cool, calm, and collected.
• A real team player who is happy to pitch in wherever needed.
• Full availability for our listed hours (Tuesday – Saturday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm).
• Must have full NZ working rights and be available for additional hours around busy periods like Easter and Christmas.
